James “Bishop” Tudman, a Gospel and Jazz Indie artist, has over 20 years of
experience in writing and publishing songs. He has participated in numerous workshops
with the likes of artists Kirk Franklin, Hezekiah Walker, “Mama Sue” Roseberry, and
Brent Jones. He has also presented in the New Music Seminar of the Gospel Music
Workshop of America. He’s a retired pastor with over 30 years of experience in ministry.
In the Jazz genre, he’s worked closely with Phil French, a renown saxophonist, and
together they released an up-tempo Gospel Jazz instrumental entitled “Ride with Me”
(Summer 2025) featuring Quamon Fowler. To date, he has several songs streaming on
digital platforms with the anointed Not My Will II featuring grammy-nominated artist
Michelle Brooks-Thompson, being the latest release on March 9, 2026. The anticipated
release of the EP entitled, Carry the Load II, will be released in the Fall of 2026.
